BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha, currently under remand at Tihar Jail, has reportedly fallen sick. She was soon shifted to the Deen Dayal Hospital in Delhi.
More details about her health are yet to be out. However, we hear that Kavitha is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Kavitha was arrested on March 15th for her alleged involvement in the Delhi Liquor Policy scam case. She has been serving remand at Delhi’s Tihar Jail for the past four months.
Both the Enforcement Directorate and the Central Bureau of Investigation have filed cases against her and are accusing her of being the primary accused in the liquor policy scandal.
She was denied bail multiple times by Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court as well as the Delhi High Court. Her arrest was a huge setback for BRS ahead of the Lok Sabha elections this year.
Along with Kavitha, Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal and AAP leader Manish Sisodia are other individuals who were arrested in relation to this case.
