Kavitha Shouts Jai TG, Jai KCR Slogans In Court

As her remand tenure has ended, BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha was brought to the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi about a while ago.

While she was being taken to the court, Kavitha said that it was not a money laundering case but a political laundering case.

Kavitha alleged that one of the accused joined the BJP, another one got a BJP ticket and the third accused donated Rs. 50 crores to the BJP in the form of the electoral bonds.

Kavitha affirmed that she would not turn approver and expressed confidence in coming out clean. “Kadigina Muthyamla Baitiki Ostha,” said Kavitha while entering the court. Her supporters chanted the slogans, “Jai Telangana” and “Jai Kavitha,” showing their support.

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate has requested the court to send Kavitha for judicial custody for 15 days. The ED said that the case is in progress and a few more people need to be questioned. On the other side, Kavitha’s lawyers sought interim bail as her son is having board examinations. The court heard the statements from both sides and the custody is extended till April 9th. The court will hear Kavitha’s interim bail on April 1st.
