KCR Must Come To Assembly, Speak: Kavitha

Kavitha, president of Telangana Jagruthi, said it was wrong for Revanth Reddy to make comments about hanging KCR. She said her blood boiled after hearing such remarks against a movement leader.

Speaking to the media at the Legislative Council office, Kavitha said she had come to enquire about her resignation. She described Revanth Reddy’s comments as inappropriate and unacceptable.

Kavitha said KCR must come to the Assembly and speak on the Krishna waters issue. She said he should directly address the matter and silence criticism from political opponents.

She added that if BRS is to survive, KCR must actively participate in Assembly debates. According to her, it is not right to leave such crucial responsibilities to junior leaders.

Kavitha also criticised the party’s internal decisions. She remarked that appointing what she called “bubble shooters” as deputy floor leaders would not help the party’s cause.

This marks the first time Kavitha has spoken positively about the future of BRS after her suspension and exit from the party. Her comments and advice to KCR have surprised political leaders and analysts alike.

Some observers feel this signals a softening of Kavitha’s stance towards BRS. Others believe it reflects her growth into a more seasoned politician willing to engage with issues beyond her comfort zone.
