Telangana Jagruthi To Become A Political Party

Telangana Jagruthi president Kavitha announced that Telangana Jagruthi will soon be transformed into a political party. She said she aims to return to the Legislative Assembly with the support of the people. Kavitha added that public backing will decide her political future.

Kavitha spoke to the media after addressing the Legislative Council. She later visited Gun Park, where she made several strong comments about her future plans. While the remarks were bold, many said they were not entirely surprising.

After being suspended from BRS, Kavitha resigned from the party and earlier expressed her ambition to become the Chief Minister of Telangana one day. On Monday, she said a new platform focused on youth was taking shape. She also said women in Telangana, like her, have strong self respect.

Kavitha invited leaders with leftist views, Maoist sympathizers, and secularists to join Telangana Jagruthi. She confirmed that the organisation will contest the next elections. Kavitha urged the people of Telangana to support her fight for women’s rights.

Her statements have triggered political discussion across the state. Many observers feel Kavitha is drawing inspiration from late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha, who once vowed to return to the Assembly as CM. While Kavitha sees the CM post as a future goal, she is positioning herself as a strong challenger to both Congress and BRS.
