Confirmed: Kavitha Takes Away TRS From KCR!

A new phase has unfolded in Telangana politics with the announcement of the new political party by K Kavitha, the daughter of K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Just a few minutes back, Kavitha announced that her new political party, which will be in operation in Telangana has been named Telangana Rashtra Sena. In short, this party will be referred to as TRS which is extremely familiar in the Telangana landscape before KCR moved his party name to BRS.

Kavitha has cleverly made a small modification to the earlier TRS full form by adding Sena at the last in place of Samithi.

This does not make for a good reading for BRS supporters as they were hopeful of getting back to the earlier name of TRS. Even KTR himself said in a public meeting recently that they are indeed, considering the option to roll back to TRS based on the wishes of party workers and supporters.

But Kavitha acted quickly, and she has secured the TRS name ahead of the possible roll back from the KCR party. This could perhaps considered as her first major jolt to KCR and KTR right on the very first day of the launch of her new party in Telangana.

But cleverly naming the party is just a first step in what could potentially be a long and challenging journey. The most important challenge for Kavitha here is going to be to uphold the drive and lead her supporters for the next 2 and half years till the election.
