Hyd’s First Smart Rotary Parking @ KBR Park

KBR Park is a walkers’ paradise, and many people start their mornings by walking through its peaceful lanes. But its popularity has created problems for those passing through the area in the morning hours. To address this issue, GHMC has introduced a unique solution.

KBR Park will soon have the city’s first smart multi level rotary parking system. It will be inaugurated on Saturday. The compact vertical parking setup includes 72 car slots, two wheeler spaces, RFID access, CCTV, and EV charging.

The smart parking system aims to reduce illegal parking, free up footpaths, and ease traffic congestion around the park.

KBR Park attracts dedicated walkers who enjoy the fresh air provided by the lung space located at the heart of Hyderabad. GHMC earlier proposed a flyover to fix the traffic problem. After massive protests, the organisation decided to use technology instead and finalised the city’s first multi level rotary parking system.
