KCR to partially execute big poll promise

Telangana government is moving forward in the execution of KCR’s biggest Poll Promise. Before the elections, TRS party had promised 12% reservation to Muslims. KCR wants to move this issue at any cost.

It is said that the government is mulling the idea of 4% quota for Muslims, this will be carved from the pool of BC(E) category. Legal experts suggested the government that it can not go on with the 12% reservations as such move may force Supreme Court to intervene and strike off the quota.

So the government is planning to make out 4% quota from the existing BC(E) quota. KCR is hoping that this will reap big benefits from Muslim community who are in significant numbers in the state.
