KCR approves PAs to 119 MLAs!

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao finally gave the green signal to the appointment of Personal Assistants to all the MLAs of the state. The Chief Minister slightly amended the rules to not only appoint government officers as PAs but also retired government officials. These Personal Assistants will attend to the works of the MLAs for their concerned constituencies.

In case of the working officers, MLAs will have to request concerned district collectors to allot them. In special cases, MLAs can also request the services of officers from other districts too. In such case, those officers will be paid a travel allowance of 1000 per month. Retired employees if hired will get a remuneration of 6000 per month. Once the MLA quits his office or informs the collector that he do not need the service of the particular employee, the concerned will automatically reverted to his parent department.
