KCR’s Back-To-Back Pressmeets: A Trap For BJP

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s back-to-back Pressmeets in two days have come as a surprise for everyone. KCR’s Pressmeets after coming to power can be counted on fingers. The first Pressmeet is over an hour and the second went more than one and a half hours.

He even announced he would meet Press daily and bust BJP’s baseless allegations. This has come as a surprise for everyone but BJP suspects it as a trap. Participating in a TV debate, BJP’s Dubbaka MLA, Raghunandan Rao said KCR is trying to go for an early election.

KCR would come before media every day and provoke our leaders. One day our leaders would say you lost in Huzurabad and you have no moral right to continue as the Chief Minister. He will immediately resign and go for elections saying you asked for. The Opposition is completely unprepared and that would be his advantage,” Raghunandan Rao said.

“KCR is fully loaded for elections. He is ready to send 20-30 Crores to each constituency. Opposition, on the other side, is completely broke. He knows anti-incumbency will be at peaks after two years. So, he is looking for an opportunity to go to early elections,” the Dubbaka MLA opined.
