KCR back tracks on media ban?

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is repeatedly extending hand for negotiations on various issues but Telangana CM KCR is not reacting to those unless the governor interferes. For the first time, Telangana CM himself gave a call for negotiations but this is not with AP.

KCR will personally go to Press academy tomorrow at 2PM to discuss about the government’s plan to ban media from secretariat. KCR will be taking up this issue with Academy Chairman and Journalist Associations. This decision of the government created a huge uproar from media as well as opposition parties.

Ahead of the GHMC elections, KCR do not want to poke the media and is calling for negotiations. Experts are of the opinion that KCR will compromise over this decision or at least make some amends with out troubling the media. Telangana government has taken the decision of banning media citing security concerns and parking problems in the secretariat while some say the ban is to check media from leaking Secretariat affairs.
