KCR beats Naidu on Google!

Who is the most searched Telugu politician on Google? Chandrababu Naidu may be the answer due to his tech savvy and active participation in social networking sites. But if that is your answer, you are wrong. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar leads in this aspect over Chandrababu.

The two leaders were equally searched over the past couple of years but KCR over came Chandrababu in 2014. According to Google Trends, KCR maintained just about 5 to 6 per cent of the interest in the most searched personalities. Naidu managed half of KCR’s interest. Interestingly, the search percentage of both the leaders waned after the state bifurcation but KCR continues to lead over Naidu even then.

KCR’s Interests were mostly restricted to Hyderabad and cities like Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam in AP while Naidu generates virtual world interest mostly from cities like Nellore, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. Analysts say that KCR’s several controversial statements on various occasions got him much popularity (good or bad) among Online Junta.
