KCR Closes Lid on 10000 Crore Miyapur Lands Scam?

With the 10000 Crore Miyapur Lands Scam, threatening to damage the image of TRS Government, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao presses himself into the action for Damage Control. “There was no monetary loss to the government and not even one square yard of land was encroached upon. There is no scam as is being alleged,” KCR declared in a Press Meet.

Analysts see this as the CM’s nervousness to hush up the scam. If there was no scam, why did the state government hold a high-level meeting with the registration department officials and decided to shunt out 70 sub-registrars or even consider a CID probe?

If the government did not lose even one Rupee, how did ACD recovers 14 Crore from sub-registrar who illegally registered government lands? The total scam is reportedly worth 10000 Crore and it will be tough to believe that it has happened with no political involvement.

TRS MPs Keshava Rao and D Srinivas themselves are said to have involved in a shady deal. KCR making the announcement of No Loss at this juncture will only indicate how the investigation will go on. KCR also said there is no need of CBI inquiry in this case.
