KCR’s Dream Project Lacks Initial Impression

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has come up with an English Daily, Telangana Today earlier this month. Extensive back ground work happened for the News Paper for years together. K Srini Reddy who previously worked with The Hindu is heading the daily’s management and got the cream of Reporters from Major Newspapers.

Rumours are rife that they have successfully emptied a Big Newspaper office by offering big fat pay cheques for thier employees. But then the quality of the news is not up to the mark and there are several editorial errors in the editions out so far. Even though it is too early for them, the initial impression is not that good given the extensive ground work happened.

KCR wants to have the newspaper reaching heights in English Newspapers segment to influence the educated class. KCR already holds the major stake in Telangana Publications which already published Namasthe Telangana which is one of the popular Newspaper in the newest state of the country. KCR also has interests in a company called Telangana Broadcasting which runs T-News.
