KCR drops Hussainsagar cleaning!

The hurriedly proposed Hussainsagar cleaning may not happen now. Telangana government announced that it will be emptying Hussainsagar and clean it completely and refill fresh water to make the lake pollution free. It is also announced that government will be creating a new lake at Indira Park and create Vinayak Sagar exclusively for the immersion of Ganesh idols on Vinayaka Chaviti.

However even days after the announcement, there are no steps taken in that direction. Sources tells us that experts have warned the government that cleaning of Hussainsagar will be an extremely difficult task and will incur huge financial burden on the state. Firstly all the canals coming in to Hussainsagar are to be diverted which is even difficult.

Considering all these technical and financial difficulties, government is said to have backtracked on the issue. Government should make elaborate homework before announcing any thing lest it should face embarrassment like this!
