KCR’s First Blunder With KTR

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is always careful about KTR’s political future. In the past eight years of TRS rule, we did not see KTR handling any controversial issues.

He was the poster boy of all the developmental activities happening in the TRS government.

But then, KCR had committed the first blunder with KTR which is also a blunder on the part of the TRS as well.

TRS had decided to extend support to the Opposition candidate, Yashwant Sinha in the upcoming Presidential elections.

KTR and a delegation of TRS accompanied Yashwant Sinha while filing the nomination today in Delhi.

It is certain that NDA candidate, Draupadi Murmu is winning the election hands down. It makes no sense to send KTR and associate him with a failure.

Furthermore, Draupadi Murmu is an Adivasi woman. Opposing her candidature and KTR himself going will not go well with the ST population in the state.

Wonder how KCR missed this simple logic!
