Did KCR Force Modi to Change BJP Ideology?

Telangana Government has organized a huge Iftar Feast to Muslim Community the other day at LB Stadium and showered sops on the community in his own style. The sops include Islamic Center in Hyderabad, 20 Lakhs Scholarships for abroad education, Seven Storied building for Orphan Muslims etc..

Besides this, the Telangana Chief Minister also announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in favor of 12% Reservations to Muslims and center will ratify it very soon. He made this announcement in the presence of BJP Senior Leader and Union Minister, Bandaru Dattatreya. Telangana passed a Bill which will allow 12% Reservations to Muslims and 10% Reservations to Scheduled Tribes.

But BJP is opposing reservations based on religion. These Reservations increase the total reservations in the state more than the mandated 50%. Telangana government wants the Center to put this into the Ninth Schedule of the Constitution which will make it immune to the 50% Rule. Tamil Nadu has bypassed the 50% Rule in a similar way. So, this announcement by KCR is very interesting.
