KCR Govt Like iPhone, Revanth Like China Phone

With local body elections round the corner, the KCR family is coming down heavily on Telangana CM Revanth Reddy.

In an interview, Kalvakuntla Kavitha compared KCR and Revanth Reddy. She said, “KCR’s government is like iPhone while Revanth Reddy’s government is like China phone. China phone looks good but doesn’t work,” said the BRS MLC.

Like the difference between iPhone and China phone, she said such is the difference between KCR and Revanth Reddy.

Kavitha said her party would standby the BCs in the state. She said Revanth cheated the BCs and got their votes. But later, he went back on his word.

Kavitha said history won’t forgive Reddy and neither will BCs. She said there is no going back till Revanth Reddy gives 42% representation to them at all levels.

The Telangana government has carried out caste census with great aplomb. But the opposition parties are alleging that the figures are fudged. Also, they are questioning the sincerity of Revanth Reddy in taking necessary steps following the census.

Congress leader of opposition at the Center Rahul Gandhi who has been pushing for caste census had said to them caste census was not just a census, but a foundation for policy-making.

Rahul Gandhi had said ‘jitni abadi utna haq (rights proportionate to population) in the past. But Revanth Reddy is being coy about the caste equations despite speaking highly of Telangana census. This has become a bone of contention for opposition BRS.
