KCR govt readily accepted his request for kidney

The Telangana state’s organ harvesting scheme, Jeevandan is already winning accolades from all corners after it is proving to be very helpful in case of emergencies. This scheme has now come to the rescue of Telangana Minister Chandulal who is suffering from Kidneys’ failure.

One of the minister’s relative came forward to donate the Kidney. While everything is ready, the donor suddenly fell sick and the doctors refused to take the kidney from him. It was then, the Minister applied for a Kidney from Jeevandhan scheme and the government accepted his request instantly.

In this scheme, the state government is maintaining a database of all possible donors and registered hospitals can request the organs they need for a patient whose life could be saved through a transplant.
