KCR govt to pay dearly for Metro Rail Delay

It is more than four months, Hyderabad Metro Concessionaire had submitted the feasibility report about the Metro rail project realignment near Legislative assembly building. This indecisiveness from the state government had also resulted in delay in the completion of Metro corridor between Miyapur and LB Nagar.

Along with the delay, the cost will also be escalated. The concessionaire will be losing a metro rail station due to the realignment and the government had to compensate for this loss which is going to be very huge.

84% of the works in this stretch are completed and the rest can be done only after the government decides on the realignment plan. Besides these troubles, the traffic snarls in this stretch especially at Lakdikapool is tormenting the people big time.
