KCR grooming KTR as the next power center!

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao seem to be grooming his son, K Taraka Rama Rao as his political heir. The Chief Minister is allotting the implementation of all important government schemes to KTR’s Panchayati Raj Ministry.

Earlier KCR’s pet scheme of distributing free two bedroom houses to the poor was originally supposed to be part of the housing ministry, but now is given to PR ministry. The recently launched Grama Jyothi program under which each village will be developed with 2 crore to Rs 6 crore is also allotted to PR Ministry.

Government had decided to procure 25,000 rickshaws for disposal of garbage which should be normally the prerogative of the municipal administration & urban development department but is now brought under Panchayati Raj department. Even retail liquor trade which is usually monitored at the mandal level to curb the menace of the illicit liquor is also entrusted with KTR.
