KCR has two options for T-TDP!

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to a large extent is successful in hitting Telangana TDP badly by encouraging defections. Already 10 TDP MLAs have shifted their loyalty to TRS. Errabelli wrote a letter to Telangana Speaker to merge TDLP to TRSLP since two thirds of TDP MLAs are out.

However there can be some legal complications on this and so the Chief Minister wants to tread carefully so that there can not be intervention of courts in future. We are said that KCR has a backup option of making these MLAs continue as split of TDP. In such case they will extend support to TRS from outside.

By-elections can also be avoided in this way. Since majority of MLAs are with the split, they are likely to get TDP legislature office in the Assembly too. In such case, Talasani may withdraw his resignation and continue with the split TDP. The backup option may be used after knowing T-TDP’s gameplan on this.
