KCR – India’s Most Popular Chief Minister

A survey conducted by Poll Tracker, VDP Associates came up with a survey about the Most Popular Chief Ministers of the country. The survey gave the first rank to Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhara Rao and said a whopping 86% of the people in the state are satisfied with his performance.

The feasibility of leading second richest state in the country combined with Telangana sentiment helped KCR big time. Shivraj Singh Chouhan (Madhya Pradesh), Mamata Banerjee (West Bengal) and Jayalalithaa (Tamil Nadu) are in the next three positions. Recently Mamatha and Jayalalithaa led to resounding poll victories in their respective states.

Other Telugu Chief Minister, Chandra Babu Naidu who is battling all sorts of problems inflicted due to the state bifurcation, is fifth in the list with 69% people satisfied with him. Even though, the difference between satisfaction levels in both the Telugu Chief Ministers is high for various reasons. It can be concluded both are doing good job with the people in the two years term they have completed.
