KCR inspired Naidu in Colleges Crackdown!

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao created a national record last year by cancelling the permissions of 174 Engineering colleges with improper facilities. His AP Counterpart Chandrababu Naidu is also taking the same path to improve the quality of education in the state.

Accordingly, the state Government has annulled the admission in 11 engineering colleges and three pharmacy colleges across the State for this academic year after the colleges were indulging in gross irregularities in the admission for the last couple of years. But cancelling 11 is too far from reaching out to KCR’s record of 174.

Both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh combined together have highest number of engineering colleges than any other state in the country. Andhra Pradesh government is planning to take similar route in the case of B.Ed colleges which had number of complaints pending.
