KCR Is In Trouble With The ‘Nama’ Question

During a serious debate in the Parliament, BRS MP Nama Nageswara Rao raised a question that has put Telangana CM KCR in trouble. The question was related to the black laws that were brought by the Modi government in the past. These laws had led to protests across the country, with demands for their repeal as they were seen to limit the rights of workers.

Interestingly, both the KCR government in Telangana and BRS had called for the repeal of these black laws and supported the farmers’ movement against them. However, there seems to be a lack of transparency from the KCR government regarding the help provided to the families of farmers who lost their lives during the movement.

Despite the center’s repeated requests, the Telangana government has not provided details of the assistance given to the affected farmers. This has led to the center questioning KCR’s government on this matter. BRS MP Nama Nageswara Rao raised the issue in the Parliament, asking for data on the number of people who died during the movements and how many families were provided assistance.

The Union Minister of Agriculture has assured the Parliament that he will inquire about the details of the farmers who received help from KCR’s government. The center has asked for details of 750 farmer families, but the Telangana government has not responded to the letters written by the center for the past two years.

This lack of response has put KCR in a difficult situation and has drawn criticism from BRS ranks, who feel that KCR and the Telangana government have been defamed on the platform of Parliament.
