KCR Losing His Trick Against Revanth Reddy

Ever since KCR assumed Power in the new Telangana State in 2014, he never really had an opponent in the state. Congress is demoralized due to the loss even after giving Telangana. TDP is silence through defections and the rest of the parties are irrelevant. KCR also set the media in tune to him by banning TV9 and ABN – Andhrajyothy but then he faced the heat only from Revanth Reddy who has become like a throne in the flesh.

But then, Revanth Reddy helped KCR himself by getting into the Cash for Vote Scam. The case forced Revanth Reddy from TDP to Congress where he has become one in many. Even though Revanth continued the tirade against KCR, the Caretaker Chief Minister never really bothered about Revanth Reddy and gave an impression to the media he is too small fish to care.

This ensured that the people did not take him seriously and consider him as a contender for the Big Position. But KCR is losing his cool towards the end as elections are nearing. We have seen how raids are happening on Revanth Reddy and his supporters as soon as the Assembly is dissolved. Revanth Reddy’s supporters were raided by Police and IT Department last night.

This is giving an impression to the people that KCR is doing everything to ensure Revanth Reddy does not win Kodangal. A feeling is being generated that demoralizing Revanth Reddy will derail the Mahakutami. This is nothing but an indirect admission that KCR has admitted that Revanth Reddy is a Tall Leader in Telangana Politics and he is doing everything to stop him. This is nothing but advantage Revanth Reddy.
