NTV and TV5 are often treated as the Second and Third Rank News Channels in Telugu while TV9 leads the way at the Top. There is a buzz that Telangana CM KCR is trying to control the media through Rameshwar Rao. This move is expected to be major shot in the arm for the ruling party in Telangana especially ahead of the 2019 elections.

We already know that TRS already operates Namasthe Telangana Telugu News Paper and T-News Channel. The party is also in the process of bringing up a English News Paper, Telangana Today.
