KCR moves on, pushes back 196 Cr project

The ambitious Swachh Hyderabad Program of Telangana government did not last more than a month. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced that the program will take place on 10th of every month. After the first month, the program did not happen for the next two months.

The second month program did not happen due to the strike of GHMC sanitation workers and the third month program did not happen as the Chief Minister and other leaders are busy with their newly launched Grama Jyothi Program.

The state government had appointed 400 mentors and patrons to oversee the program. Each unit of GHMC was sanctioned 50 Lakhs. An amount of 196 Crore was allotted by GHMC for 5000 odd works.
