KCR: No Longer A Media Megastar?

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has upped the battle against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is vowing to save the country from BJP rule. We have seen him trying to unify the anti-BJP forces in the country. The other day, KCR called for a Pressmeet and lambasted the Center once again.

KCR rarely comes before the media but when he comes, he garners so much attention from the people with his mass language and oratory skills. Media also used to give a lot of prominence to the Pressmeets of KCR as they bring good ratings. But KCR‘s Pressmeets in recent times are not gaining much traction.

There are barely any viewers or people who discuss these Pressmeets. Even on social media, there are not many discussions about the Sunday evening Pressmeet. It looks like either KCR lost his mojo or the subject (fight against BJP) is not so exciting to the people. Is this any indication of anti-incumbency? or something else?

Either way, it is not a good sign for TRS ahead of the elections next year!
