After a long silence, the phone tapping case is back in news. Police questioned KCR’s former OSD Rajasekhar Reddy. The interrogation took place at Jubilee Hills PS and lasted for two hours.
Newly appointed Commissioner of Police VC Sajjanar held a review meeting with senior officials regarding the phone tapping case. He checked the progress of the interrogation and the chargesheets filed so far. He gave further instructions regarding the case.
It is said that questioning of KCR’s ex OSD was done based on his directives. The SIT has already questioned the accused and the victims. Four police officers were suspended earlier in connection with the case.
One of the key accused Radhakishan Rao mentioned Bharata Rashtra Samithi supremo in his remand report. He stated that he and others acted under the orders of KCR. Based on this statement, KCR‘s OSD was called for questioning.
It remains to be seen how the case will move forward in the coming days.
