In all the elections so far, Telangana Rashtra Samiti contested on single point agenda of fighting for separate Telangana state. Now that the statehood is granted, the party had to come up with a manifesto for the first time. The manifesto was released a short while ago by the TRS Chief. KCR made huge promises in the manifesto and concentrated fully on appeasing people.
The manifesto says the primary goal of the party is removal of poverty. It promises a bonus to all employees for fighting for Telangana goal. They also promised wages to state employees equal to Central employees. As a party of minorities appeasement, the party promised 12% reservations to Muslims and a separate budget of 1000 Crores for their welfare. Muslims voting play a crucial role in several constituencies of Telangana so KCR seemed to have specially concentrated on them.
