KCR’s Return Gift to Chandrababu – Lakshmi’s NTR?

It is known to our readers that Telangana High Court has given Green Signal for the release of Ram Gopal Varma’s controversial film Lakshmi’s NTR. A person filed a lunch motion petition in Telangana High Court asking to stop the release of the film until the elections since it can pose law and order issues in Andhra Pradesh.

The court has asked the Government opinion on the issue. The Advocate General on the behalf of the State Government went on to say that there is no law and order issue as such and the Police will ensure that there are no problems for the movie release. With the assurance of the government, the High Court struck down the Petition.

The assertion of the Government in the High Court ensured that the movie release is cleared. This looks like KCR’s ploy to damage the prospects of TDP in the coming elections. Lakshmi’s NTR is being planned for March 29th release which is two weeks before the voting for AP Elections on April 11th.
