KCR rubbed Reddys on the wrong side!

Revanth Reddy’s incident may bring in a big change in the caste polarization in Telangana. The contest now make turn murkier as the incident will flare up differences between Velamas and Reddys. Reddys across the state and party lines are likely to get united against the government led by Velamas. This will bring new calculations in Telangana political sphere.

Traditionally, Reddys were always a dominant force in United Andhra Pradesh. Especially, during the Congress rule, Reddys were the face of Congress and enjoyed lion share in MLA tickets and Ministers. However Reddy population was cut down size-ably with the state division.

With KCR getting to power, Velamas became dominant force in Telangana. Reddys have no proper political representation with Congress beaten badly out of shape. This incident may regroup them under a common political platform which may be Revanth Reddy led TDP or a new political outfit.
