KCR Sees No Threat in BJP

TRS Supremo K Chandrasekhara Rao sees no immediate threat to TRS from BJP’s ambitious plans to expand its base in Telangana. The Chief Minister is of the opinion that the saffron party can eat only into the vote of Congress and at most can be the Main Opposition.

KCR also predicted that BJP will try to poach as many Congress leaders as possible. “From a positive of not being able to field formidable candidates even in 50 of the 119 constituencies in the state to coming to power is next to impossible,” the CM opined.

The TRS Supremo also asked the leaders not to worry about the BJP’s attempts to create a buzz in the state on the back of its national president Amit Shah’s proposed three-day tour of the state later this month and go about their own business.
