KCR shifts focus on to Revanth Reddy's constituency

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is moving his pawns swiftly in Kodangal, the constituency of TDP leader, Revanth Reddy. The constituency may go for by-election in case Revanth is disqualified from the house with Cash for Vote allegations.

TRS had brought in Gurunath Reddy in to the party to counter Revanth. Gurunath Reddy is formerly in Congress and was a six time MLA previously before Revanth Reddy. The ruling party will want to groom Gurunath Reddy in the constituency to counter Revanth.

Revanth Reddy was the only leader in Telangana who stood face to face with KCR in the new state. TDP is projecting Revanth Reddy as its future leader in the state. So effectively killing Revanth Reddy’s future is equal to killing TDP here.
