KCR takes pen again for saving lakes!

Telangana government has taken up a massive lake conservation program ‘Mission Kakatiya’ to restore over 45000 lakes and water bodies in the newest state of the country. The Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who took the initiative to take up this cause is also penning a song to create awareness among people about the importance of lakes and water bodies.

In fact, Telangana government is planning to release a music album on Mission Kakatiya.The album is being readied under the supervision of noted Telangana singer and TRS MLA Rasamayi Balakishna, who is also the chairman of Telangana Sanskritika Sarathi, constituted by TS government. Five songs for the album are already ready and they are waiting for the CM’s song to complete the album and release it.

It is already known to our readers that KCR had penned a song for the film “Jai Bolo Telangana” released in 2011 during the agitation days. His song, “Garadi chesthundru gadibidi chesthundru- Gundiki dhiguthundru hey mondiki pothundru” was a chart-buster, which was a satire on Seemandhra leaders trying to halt Telangana formation. He also penned songs for the upcoming film Kolimi which speaks about the Telangana culture.
