KCR – More Talk and Less Act Chief Minister?

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao always claims that his government is a government of less talk and more action. But then the Chief Minister himself is not standing up to it. This is evident in at least two major incidents in KCR’s rule until now – Cash for Vote and Nayeem Case.

During the initial days of Cash for Vote, KCR was very excited about pinning down his rival, Chandrababu Naidu. Without going into the details of the case, KCR went on to declare that even Lord Brahma can not save Chandrababu. But then later it was established that the case is too weak to corner Chandrababu and TRS government could not even name him as an accused.

A few days ago, when the Opposition parties demanded a discussion on Nayeem Encounter case. The Chief Minister stood and alleged that it was the then TDP and Congress governments which aided for the growth of Nayeem and his empire. But then, Telangana government itself filed a counter saying that no Police or Politician is involved in the case.

Both these instances have left even hardcore supporters of TRS in disappointment. Nayeem’s encounter in particular back then got so much of good will about the KCR’s government but then everything is lost now. There is an impending danger of people considering KCR as More Talk and Less Act Chief Minister.
