KCR Talks of Arrests, But Does Not Include Himself

BRS chief KCR spoke about the Kaleshwaram commission report. He called it Congress commission report, expressing his opinion on the one-man report.

KCR said he was not surprised by the report as it was as expected. With rumours of his arrest doing rounds, KCR asked his cadre and party leaders not to lose heart.

Surprisingly, KCR said that some BRS leaders would be arrested and asked BRS leaders not to be scared.

KCR said that whoever said Kaleshwaram project was useless is ignorant. He called upon BRS leaders and cadre to strike back regarding the Kaleshwaram commission report. He asked them to explain the benefits of Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project to people of Telangana.

Given the timing of KCR’s response, the issue has gained significance in political circles of Telangana. While the Kaleshwaram commission report has put the entire blame on KCR for the failure of Kaleshwaram project, KCR spoke of arrests of other BRS leaders.

It has to be noted that Chinna Jeeyar Swamy and My Home head Rameswara Rao met PM Modi just days before the report was out. It is known that both the Swamy and Rameswar Rao were very close to KCR. Also, he is doing Chandi yagam that got him power back then.

Hence, putting two and two together, political analysts say that KCR could have inside information about not being arrested. Else, the BRS chief is being too optimistic.
