KCR to fight with Pakistan?

A London court recently delivered a verdict in favour of Pakistan about the funds transferred by the then Nizam to the account of High Commissioner of Pakistan in UK after Government of India annexed the then Hyderabad State. Indian and Pakistani governments are fighting for these funds for the last few years in International Courts.

A whopping amount of 1,007,940 pounds and 9 shillings were transferred back then. Telangana government is keen to wage a legal battle on Pakistan for the funds as it claims as successor of the Nizam’s government. Telangana government is busy unearthing the required documents supposedly stored at the Tarnaka archives to file the case.

These documents were missing for along time. Telangana government claims that the bounty will come handy if they manage to win the case. On the other side, the successors of Nizams are also fighting for the possession of these funds.
