KCR's 5 Crore Bus lay unused!

Our readers are aware that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had got a 5 Crore Bullet Proof Bus fitted with creature comforts and designed to be an office on wheels. However the Bus is now totally being unused at its parking spot at the Hyderabad Depot-1 of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation.

The Bus is only getting out once a week for making a weekly trip of about 50 km to keep its battery and engine in shape. KCR reportedly is no longer interested in the bus as he felt his initial experience in the vehicle was not a good omen.

Back in July 2014, when the Chief Minister first switched on the air-condition of the bus, it developed a technical snag due to a problem with the electrical wiring. KCR was also unhappy over the seating arrangements in the bus as well as the public address system. The bus company later performed the necessary repairs. But since KCR thinks it is not a good omen, he is not enthusiastic about using the bus and is preferring a helicopter more often.
