KCR’s Administration Did Not Learn A Lesson?

Hyderabad has witnessed the first big rain of the season on Sunday. It rained heavily in the many parts of Hyderabad. Secunderabad, Malkajgiri, Kapra, LB Nagar Musheerabad, Uppal, and Begumpet have witnessed massive rain. The rest of the areas received moderate rainfall.

The city has recorded familiar things like traffic jams, road flooding, submerged vehicles, power outages, submerged houses, and tree falls. All this has happened for the first rain of the season and only indicates things to come later this season.

Last year, Hyderabad witnessed rains never before seen in the last 100 years. The city suffered big time and TRS recorded disappointing numbers in the GHMC elections. It looks like no lessons are learned this time as well. GHMC and other departments seem to be totally unprepared.

We will have to see what is in store for the city for the remainder of the season.
