KCR’s Biggest Farmer Friendly Reform

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao who is busy churning out populistic schemes for farmers is bringing out a radical farmer friendly reform. The state government is promulgating an ordinance soon to check the spurious seeds menace.

The ordinance will bring stringent measures to punish those who trade in spurious seeds. Such companies will be prosecuted in the case of spurious seeds and will also be penalized if the crops failed. This is a huge reform in the farming sector over the years.

A majority of the farmer suicides occur due to crops failed due to the use of spurious seeds while the companies that sell them walk free. KCR government assures to stand by the farmers right from getting input expenditure to getting minimum support price for the produce.
