KCR’s extra padding to Talasani

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is sure about facing a by-election in Sanathnagar some time in future given the defection of Talasani Srinivas Yadav from TDP to TRS. It will be a prestigious affair for the ruling party at Sanathnagar and at the same time very difficult to win the settlers majority constituency.

KCR is padding Talasani so much to make him significant in GHMC limits. He was recently made the head of the cabinet sub-committee on the Building Regularization Scheme and Layout Regularization Scheme and reforms in building permissions in the city. This scheme is expected to benefit settlers and so Talasani is projected as the face of it.

In the wake of the by-election, the chief minister announced the first housing scheme in Bhoiguda that comes under Sanathnagar assembly constituency. He also toured the constituency a couple of times. We will have to see if all this helps Talasani to sail home in Sanathnagar!
