KCR’s Fresh Boon To TFI When Jagan Tortures!

The sheer contrast in the approach towards the Telugu film industry from the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is as striking as it can get. While the Telangana government is working on supporting the industry, the Jagan government is busy finding loopholes to irk the same.

In an encouraging development, the Telangana government has permitted permanent 5-shows permission. Meaning, cinema theatres in the state need not request for the 5th show and are free to screen 5 shows per day anytime between 8 AM – 1 AM.

On the other hand, the AP government recently passed a new G.O pertaining to Tollywood and it has countless loopholes in it. The 20% shooting in AP regulation, 5th show for a small film, and the 25% seating reservation for economically weak are just a few of the complications.

At a time when KCR has provided a fresh boon to the industry in Telangana, the industry bigwigs are struggling to get their heads around the complications set in motion by Jagan.
