New ploy to undermine settlers’ majority!

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was telling that all the people living in Hyderabad are integral part of Telangana and will not be called ‘settlers’ going further. But on the other side of the coin, KCR very well knows that settlers will never be on his side and is working behind to oust their majority in Hyderabad.

Election Commission had taken the exercise of linking votes with Aadhar number. However this is not a mandatory rule as the Supreme court refused to make Aadhar as compulsory. However this is all different in Telangana. KCR instructed GHMC officials to remove all the votes with out Aadhar card from the electoral lists.

Majority of the settlers in Hyderabad do not want to submit their Aadhar cards as they fear that their nativity details will be exposed and they may face the wrath of the Telangana government going further. But with KCR’s new rule, all the settlers who fear submitting the Aadhar details will lose their votes for the upcoming GHMC elections. KCR himself said that there are 15 Lakh such voters and KCR calls them bogus voters. Unless courts interfere, the upcoming voter lists in Hyderabad will be a mockery of democracy.
