KCR’s Silence Giving Nightmares to TRS Leaders?

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao dissolved the Assembly and immediately announced the first of 105 candidates taking the Opposition by surprise. He immediately attended a handful of Public Meetings immediately and later announced that he will be attending 100 such meetings in the next 50 days. But then, KCR had slowed down significantly since then.

The party later announced that it will begin immediately after Dussehra but now, Diwali is around the corner and there is no sight of KCR attending the meetings. There were reports in some sections of the media that TRS may have a tough time in the election and Mahakutami is surging ahead.

Even though there are such rumours, the ruling party puts up a brave face and due to iron fist control on the media, it is hard to believe there is such anti-incumbency on TRS. But this stoic silence from the TRS Supremo is giving rise to new doubts if the ruling party is really in trouble.

We have also seen TRS candidates finding it tough to campaign in their constituencies. TRS is also hoping that Congress will finalize the seat sharing and announce its candidates so that there can be trouble due to rebels. Telangana will go for elections on December 7th and the results will be out on 11th of the same month.
