KCR’s solution for missing files!

File Missing is one of the most common complaint you hear in government departments. There are instances where you file a plea to a department, wait for its clearance for ages and when you come back after it is not done, we hear the file is missing. To avoid this kind of problems, Telangana government is mooting the idea of barcoding.

Every file coming to a department will be given a Unique number using a barcode. The soft copy of the file will be sent to the concerned officials. Citizens can just give the barcode number and track the file movement. This will also help in transparency in the system as we can find where a file got struck and for how many days.

That will prompt employees to complete the work very fast since they have to give reasons for the delay. The physical files will also be stored in a separate department. The file can be brought out if necessary using the barcode. Important government departments like Finance, Industries, Water Resources etc started this system and very soon all the departments will follow.
