KCR’s Toll Free Mantra brings down Corruption!

It is known to our readers that Telangana Chief Minister had announced the Toll Free number to give complaints regarding corruption in government offices in the state. Government officials are shivering at the mention of this number. The complaints registered on this number are being forwarded to Anti Corruption Bureau for further investigation.

However most complainants so far find their work completed even before the attend the investigation. Most of the complaints are regarding pensions, ration cards, free houses, free house lands, ration transfers, corruption in government hospitals etc.

10000 calls were received on this number in the first three days and so far 499 cases were registered through this toll free number. 450 of them were solved even before the ACB investigation began. ACB started probe on remaining cases. It is also said that many officials have stopped asking for bribes due to the fear of cases.
