Kesineni Nani: Will he Won’t he Join BJP?

Kesineni Srinivas popular as Kesineni Nani has been toying with the idea of joining BJP, said a write-up in Andhrajyothy.

Nani who lost as MP on YSRCP ticket from Vijayawada, had announced on June 10, 2024, that he is quitting active politics.

But rumours have been rife that he might join the saffron party. Kesineni Nani has always maintained that he was rather close to Ratan Tata and union minister Nitin Gadkari. Nani had said he did a lot of work through Tata Trust and got many projects for Vijayawada through his closeness with Gadkari.

While going into TDP is ruled out, Nani has no plans to return to YSRCP to which he bid goodbye. It is being said BJP state president Purandareswari is trying hard to get Kesineni into BJP.

At such a time comes a statement from Kesineni Nani about his political future. He has tweeted that his decision made on June 10, 2024, remains intact.

He mentioned that service to public was a life-long commitment and said that speculations about his political re-entry must stop.

He has once again made it clear that he will work for the welfare of the people of Vijayawada parliamentary constituency with full passion and commitment, away from politics.
