Khairathabad Ganesh to pay for Andhra Laddu

Few days ago, we have got a news that the famous Khairathabad Ganesh will not gave Laddu from Andhra Pradesh. That drew lot of flak from all quarters saying that God and politics should not be mixed. This seem to have forced a change in the decision of the committee. They have decided that they will be taking the Laddu from Suruchi foods itself.

Suruchi foods in Tapeswaram, used to sponsor this mega laddu at a free of cost, but this time the committee will be paying for that. Instead of the six tonnes (6000 Kgs) Jumbo Laddu like last year, this year’s laddu will be just 500 Kgs. The idol this time will be 58 feet height and 28 feet width.

When Suruchi foods first started the Laddu donation in 2010, it started with a 500 Kgs Laddu. Suruchi Foods owner, Malli Babu is ready to donate the Laddu for free but the Utsav committee decided to pay the cost for the reasons best known to the makers.
