The Maharashtra and Jharkhand Assembly Election results are out. While the Mahayuti alliance is set to form the government again in Maharashtra, the INDI alliance won Jharkhand once again.
Mahayuti alliance of BJP, Shinde’s Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s NCP is set to win 229 out of 288 total seats in Maharashtra. On the other side, Maha Vikas Agadi (Congress-Uddhav Thackarey’s Shiv Sena-Sharad Pawar’s NCP) managed to win only 46 seats and is leading in nine other constituencies.
No exit poll predicted Mahayuti to win by this huge margin, except KK Surveys. Kiran Kondeti, who runs KK Surveys, predicted that Mahayuti will win 225 seats and MVA will secure 56 seats.
No other exit poll predicted Mahayuti to cross the 200 mark, including the renowned Axis My India (predicted 178-200 seats). KK was the only one who was spot-on with his prediction.
Even in the AP General Elections, KK predicted TDP-JSP-BJP alliance would win 161 out of 175 assembly seats. In reality, the alliance won 164 and YCP won just 11. Everyone mocked KK when his exit poll was out but was shocked to see his result proving right.
Now, again with the Maharashtra election prediction, KK proved his mettle and made a striking mark on a national level. People on social media are now predicting KK to be the next big pollster in India.
